INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK & OXFAM EDUCATION RESOURCES

The U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education joined together to celebrate the International Education Week 2007 (November 12-16)so as to promote world-wide learning.

Oxfam is a non-governmental, development, relief, and campaigning organisation that works with others to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.

Oxfam Education offers a huge range of ideas, resources and support for developing the global dimension in the classroom and the whole school. All of the resources support Education for Global Citizenship – education that helps pupils understand their world and make a positive difference in it.
