Certification is becoming the global passport to success and the market is evolving accordingly. Two key factors are driving demand for language exams:
• the desire for university education abroad
It is becoming very rare for students to take an exam purely for personal reasons. On the contrary it is becoming more and more necessary to prove their level of a language by holding a recognised certificate.
Greeks value education highly; well-educated children bring pride to the family. As Greece does not have any natural resources, the only resources that we have are ‘human resources’. Thus, there is a need for the development of each person’s potential and capability. It can be clearly seen that nowadays one’s future opportunities will be limited unless one has good academic qualifications. However the ‘certificate chase’ puts great pressure on children to do well in exams...
